Hello! My name is Maria and I’m a London based artist. My art journey started from a very young age, when I used to watch my mum study for her art degree and I would borrow her pencils and draw with her. Since then I realised that I enjoy art more than anything else and it’s what helps me relax and express myself. I was always encouraged to practice and explore multiple mediums and improve by experimenting with my own techniques. Coming from a Greek background I have always been interested in Greek mythology and incorporated it in my art and as you can see a lot of my work is based on or inspired by anime and video games which is another interest of mine. I have also started exploring other mythologies and religions that I’m planning to integrate in my future works.
